Education & Social event – Sunday 1st October 2023, Coventry UK

The CAH Support Group are running an educational/social day at Coventry University (UK) on Sunday 1st October 2023, which will run from 11am – 4pm.
The meeting will primarily be of interest to parents of children with CAH, although everyone with an interest in CAH will of course be welcome to come along. Unfortunately we are not able to organise a crèche on this occasion but children are welcome, although they will need to stay under the supervision of their parents.
We are delighted to announce that Professor Nils Krone, (Paediatric Endocrinologist from Sheffield Childrens Hospital) has very kindly agreed to join us and give a presentation and answer general questions.
We are also hoping that parents of children and adults with CAH will share their own experiences and advice. If you’d like to be considered for giving a short talk on the day, please contact Sue or Sallyann via our ‘Meet the Team’ page. Hearing from others who understand what it is like to live with CAH is so reassuring and helpful (especially for new parents), so please consider this – you will be amongst friends who will appreciate and understand your views!
A sandwich lunch and refreshments will be provided. Although the day will be mainly financed by the support group, we are asking for a nominal admittance fee of £5 per adult (children free) to go towards the costs but have tried to keep this low so that we don’t exclude anyone who would like the opportunity to attend.
If you would like to attend contact Sallyann via our ‘Meet the Team’ page – the last date for booking is 22nd September.
